Of all the completely custom painting requests I receive, capturing a bride in all her glory, layers of tulle or folds of satin, floral appliqué, a translucent veil draping over her shoulders, is probably my favorite thing to paint. Each woman tilts her head in a slightly different way when she smiles or laughs. My bridal and wedding portraits will capture your unique posture and personality. Even without facial features added to the portrait, you can almost SEE the smile pushing the subject’s cheeks up. It is truly an honor to be asked to paint a bride and her groom!

Here’s how it works.

You wouldn’t get married without a photographer. A live event painter capturing the event for you in a custom piece of fine artwork all your own is just as essential. If you can imagine it, I can create it. This could be a bridal portrait done as a wedding gift for your spouse. Or it can be a portrait of the happy couple in front of the floral archway altar. Or simply a watercolor painting of the venue as an anniversary gift.

My Wedding Day and Bridal Packages are priced individually and include:

  • A walk-through of your venue together with you if possible. If not, a meeting or phone call prior to the event to discuss your vision and preferences for your portrait.

  • Travel to the event space within the metro Atlanta/North Georgia area

  • An 9”x12” or 11”x14"“ watercolor portrait drawn and painted on site or in advance

  • Up to 4 hours on site before the event to set up and begin the sketch

  • 5 hours of painting during the event

  • Finishing touches in my studio and secure delivery in person or shipping confirmation to you within 5 - 7 days. I will have much of your painting finished by the time of your sparkler exit, but I will take it home and meticulously detail its grandeur.
